In many cases, Thermage is excellent for skin tightening — nice results can be achieved in the treatment of cellulite or improvement of jowls — no downtime is a big plus — new protocols with less energy but multiple passes has made treatment longer, but safer and less painful. One problem, though, is that you can’t predict who will get the best results or who will get mediocre to no results.

I do not personally perform Thermage but I have heard both from my patients and from industry experts that Thermage has noticeable results at first but they may not maintain over time, and that the treatments are expensive and uncomfortable. I would recommend asking to speak with other patients of your doctor who have done Thermage 6 months ago or more, and get their opinions.

there have been some improvements in the skin with Thermage treatments; however these improvements were small and did not last for too long. there is a new device now called Exilis and has shown great improvements in reducing fat and tightening skin. you can read more about is on : http://perfectself.com/exilis-los-angeles-beverly-hills.html

I have been less impressed with the result of Thermage CPT. In order to get good results, treatments can be very painful. I evaluated the modality and rejected it in favor of Exilis treatments.

Thermage CPT works very effectively. It is safe and effective. Makes you look years younger. It’s one of my favorite treatments.
