I’m looking for a moisturizing hair treatment. One you leave in for awhile.
I’ve tried a few that you leave in for a few minutes and rinse and I’m not happy with them. Any suggestions?

Liquid Keratin Infusing Deep- De-Frizz Conditioner- Sug. retail $29.00
I personally use this product when I have a photo shoot or casting as it leaves my hair soft, adds hydration & makes it easy for me to blow straight. It is expensive, therefore I do not use on a daily basis but my hair reacts immediately to this conditioner in a favorable way due to keratin protein that helps keep hair strong & pliable. I leave in my hair 5- 8 minutes.

Redken Real Control Intense Super Moisturizing Mask- Sug. retail $15.00
    *Shea butter a rich emollient
*Catonic condtioners- add moisture & nourishment
*Ceramides- water retention in the hair’s cells to prevent dehydration
Reviews show most women feel hair is soft & manageable after one use. It can be used regularly or when your hair needs the extra hydration for the driest hair. After shampooing leave in hair for at 15 minutes.

    It’s a 10 Miracle Hair Mask- Sug. retail $29.96
*Oat kernel extract make hair silky smooth & soft
*Apricot kernel oil- prevents moisture loss, repairs dry hair & scalp
    *Sweet almond oil- promotes shine
*Linseed extract- soothes scalp & leaves hair silky & soft
A little goes a long way, as it could be a little heavy for thin or fine hair. Can be used daily or for intensive deep conditioning.

I’ve tested and tried countless moisturizing hair treatments, from the very expensive to medium and low priced. My favorite of them all and I keep on going back to is Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask. It’s less than $10 and it doesn’t weigh down my fine hair yet leaves it super moisturized. If you want expensive – Shu Uemura Art of Hair makes an oil called Essence Absolue. This is quite amazing too. I’ve put a few drops in my hands and then work it through the hair and I leave it on overnight. Believe it or not, by morning it’s completely absorbed and I don’t wash my hair and it’s soft and manageable.

    Good luck!

I’ve found the best thing for my hair is to only shampoo every other day. Shampooing every day takes moisture out of our hair. Use a mild shampoo. I use Avon Advance Techniques Color Protection Shampoo for color-treated hair. It nourishes, protects and helps extend the life of your hair color.

Eat a balanced diet rich in fruits and vegetables.

Drink plenty of water – moisturize from the inside out.

    Hope this helps.

I have been using WEN products, by CHAZ DEAN, for over a year. You can leave some in your hair or use it as suggested and apply, rinse and apply again and not rinse it totally out or not. I have never had such shiny hair before and use it in the Lavender kind. I have baby fine hair that I color and highlight. It tends to dry out and get like straw on the ends. No problems since using WEN. It also comes in Fig, Tea Tree, and Almond Mint depending on the type of hair you have. It is a a conditioning shampoo, meaning it will not lather but cleanses the hair with botanicals and essential oils. My hair has never been this conditioned, moisturized and shiny all at the same time. When ever I use something else I always go back to WEN now. People comment on the shine in my hair and never have before. They also have leave in treatments I have tried but I really don’t need them using the WEN conditioning shampoo all the time now.

I agree with Cubie. Avon is often overlooked for fancy expensive brands. It does a wonderful job for much less money. http://www.YourAvon.com/llevreault

Avon just came out with a new hair product-Advance Techniques Damage Repair 3 D Rescue. After you wash your hair, you apply and leave it in and style. It instantly repairs breakage and greatly improves the look of hair in 3 uses. My hair is bleached, so I love this product!

Additionally, I have been using Phyto products for years. Depending on how dry your hair is, try Phyto 7 or Phyto 9. These are botanical creams that you can apply to freshly shampooed hair, or use as a daily grooming aid to ends. LOVE!

    What it does:

I have used many and also have not been happy with them the only thing I have found that works is Fekkai glossing cream that you leave in your hair this will work nicely -That being said I’m 51 and have spent most of my life trying to find something that would make my hair smooth and shinny without fly aways or frizz after trying everything from cheap to 50.00 a bottle what I found was that head and shoulders works better than all of them. it conditions the scalp where the problem starts the hair will respond by being very smooth and silky -all of these fancy shampoos will not do what head and shoulders does. than after shampooing I add just a touch of the Fekkai glossing cream . I do not ad a rice out conditioner because its counter productive and will make my hair very frizzy and filled with fly aways . I cant tell you how much money I wasted on different shampoos and conditioners Ive tried everything . now my hair is just the way I want it to be every day because I shampoo twice a week with head and shoulders and add a little Fekkai glossing cream . I did a video review for head and shoulders you can see how nice my hair looks in the video . its all I use and just the best for healthy scalp and hair -I do not have dandruff I use HS for conditioning of the scalp and it dose that well . please have a look at my review

Although my hair stylist always wants me to try something new, I simply will not.
Through my many years, I still have not found anything better than John Frieda products for the hair.
Although , I will caution those with blonde, it will gradually lighten your hair.
I do need to add a color toner to my hair every few months to maintain the beige color.
However, it is well worth it.
I have spent money on salon products, and other advertised products, and still come back to John Frieda. ( made for all color of hair , each hair color has it’s own formula )
It is the very best line of hair products available over the counter today.
Hair, if you do not feel good about your hair, it’s just not a good start to the day.
    Best wishes,
    Linda
