(2 of 2) There is a loop on the pendant so it can be worn on a chain and I have tbe original chain. I looked on the net and the info I found said Judith Leiber didn’t start making jewelry until much later.

Where can I go to authenticate this and where is the best place to sell it.

Somehow the first part ended up on General Questions and the second one under Vintage Jewelry. I suppose I was too careless the first time because I did know where I wanted it to go.

I just don’t know where to price it. I have the original bag and it has to be at least 35 years old. I don’t know if that qualifies as vintage or not.

I’m not sure what you could price it at, but as I said in my previous post, if you go to the website where the experts congregate, they will advise on selling and value. You never know, one of the collectors may want to buy it! http://costumejewelrycollectors.ning.com/

I just wanted to Thank You for your help. It was invaluable.

Just to give you an update, I have heard back from Judith Lieber. The current company bought her out in 1998 and just put their costume jewelry line out in 2010. Before that when she personally owned the company, she did have a costume jewelry line.

I west to the costume jewelry website you recommended and it was very helpful. I found some people selling on eBay on a costume jewelry section and think that is the perfect place to post this. Some of it is extremly expensive. I’m going to try to post a. picture here today to see if I can get some advice on pricing.

I can’t thank you enough for your help.

Hi, Here is a link where you can find the experts and ask questions. You’ll get the best advice from them. Also, in my opinion, the best place to sell vintage jewelry is on ebay. http://costumejewelrycollectors.ning.com/
