I began having spider veins break when I was a teenager, primarily in my ankles, although there are a few scattered across my thighs (those aren't bothersome). My ankles look HORRIBLE! They aren't so bad if I get a really deep tan, but then I run the risk of skin cancer. I find the whole notion of spray-on tans messy and time-consuming. What is the best way to treat spider veins? Is it costly and do they return once treated?
