Is there a tiny (non-invasive?) procedure that would be just as if I held one finger just next to my earlobes? That little bit of tension is enough to erase jowlish bulge and cheek lines.

Threadlift (non-surgical face-lift) is minimally invasive and addresses signs of aging in the face, including droopiness of the skin of the brow, cheeks, jowls, and neck without incisions or scars. Threads are inserted painlessly under the skin to lift and contour the tissues, providing an immediate tightening. The procedure can be performed using local anesthesia, and most patients can return to normal activities the next day.

Thermage is a non-surgical (no incision!) treatment that can tighten skin and stimulate your body to make healthier collagen—the building block that provides structure to your skin. The procedure uses radiofrequency technology called ThermaCool® that has been clinically proven to tighten and gently lift skin to smooth out wrinkles and renew facial contours. Fast and easy, Thermage requires no downtime from normal activities. And unlike laser treatments, Thermage can be performed on patients of all skin types. Thermage can be used not only for sagging facial, neck, and eyelid skin; but also all over the body, including flabby arms, hands, abdomen, and legs. Now approved by the FDA for improving cellulite. In only one treatment, patients report smoothing of dimples with lasting results. Tighten and lift without surgery, injections, or downtime.

there is a minor facelift procedure that is similar to what you are describing. this is a very minor improvement and does not last. there are no reliable non-invasive techniques that have any long lasting effects. there is no "magic wand". To improve your jowls and cheek lines you probably would to best best with a moderate facelift. this has a very nice improvement and last longer. Dr. Leake, Marietta, GA

Generally, if you have minimal signs of aging in the neck, a short scar facelift may be all that is needed to improve the jawline. There are now several devices that are non-invasive promoting skin tightening without surgery. Ther are several on the market, but unfortunately, there is more marketing than science supporting many of these devices. Do plenty of research and discuss with board certified plastic surgeons that have plenty of experience in these modalities.
