FOF Kate Somerville
is the founder of a beloved "medi-skin clinic" in Los Angeles, where estheticians and nurse practitioners help celebs such as Debra Messing and Annette Benning treat their skin woes with everything from facials to lasers. Kate has been dubbed “Hollywood’s Secret Weapon,” by the LA press, and her eponymous collection of skincare products and supplements has a cult following among the LaLa Land elite.
One such product is her just-released DermalQuench Liquid Lift (retail value: $95)
, made from a patent-pending formula including three key ingredients: PFC-Oxygen Carriers, which “increase volume and create a plumping effect” on the skin, Hyaluronic Acid, which provides hydration, and "rare botanical extracts" to increase overall radiance, according to the company. The product "aggressively combats the visible signs of aging: wrinkles, sagging skin, uneven tone, and dryness.”
Is this liquid lift--a downer? Or is it as effective as its manufacturers promise?
