Through rigorous training and decades of specialized plastic surgery experience, Dr. Yamahata personalizes every procedure to help each patient look naturally more attractive. Dr. Yamahata has been the chief of plastic surgery for Sacramento’s Sutter Community Hospitals and was even president of the Sacramento Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at U.C. Davis Medical Center and enjoys giving back by sharing his experience. He is also a volunteer contributor to RealSelf, where he answers questions to help people make informed decisions regarding surgical procedures.
Dr. Yamahata grew up in Los Angeles and attended the University of Southern California, where he completed an undergraduate degree and continued graduate training in Health Administration. He then went on to attend the highly respected University of California, Davis. Over the course of 12 years he completed his entire medical education including his medical degree, general surgery, and plastic surgery training.
