I am 52 and just now starting to notice my neck and chin sag. I’ve heard that Botox can lift these areas. Though it’s temporary, is this a reasonable expectation? I don’t want to get the “pulled skin” look that plastic surgery gives.

    Hi TC,
It is important to understand that surgery does not inevitably lead to a pulled look. The trend now is for very natural results and surgeons are responding to this. That being said, some patients do not want surgery. Botox can help contour the neck. The best thing is for you to have an in person consultation for an evaluation and then the various options can be discussed, with the pros and cons of each. Skin tightening procedures such as Ulthera may also help.
