I have a scar on my neck from having it fused and now they are going back in to replace all of the hardware. Cutting the muscles and whatever else they do for the surgery, will this make aging more prevalent and harder to keep from my neck and jowls from sagging? And what can I do if so?

A lot depends on where the scar is located. An anterior cervical fusion scar is usually located on the mid to lower part of the neck, and it is oriented horizontally. In general, this should not affect or influence the natural sagging that occurs with aging in the face, jawline, and neck tissues behind the chin.
