Sharon, for most of my patients, blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) there is minimal pain. The cost runs from 4,500 – 5000 with no charge for your
consultation. Patients are usually back to their normal routine within 7-10 days. This particular surgery is one which truly changes your features to a more younthful appearance.
Pain is rarely an issue after a blepharoplasty, either upper or lower or both. It’s mostly a sore felling that responds very well to a couple days of low dose Vicodin. Some of my patients just take Tylenol and do fine. The recovery is around 1-2 wks when you are talking about looking presentable. You’ll be able to go shopping or just get out and about in a few days. Most patients wear some dark glasses during this recovery period. The cost is around $4,000-$5,000 depending on if you do upper and/or lower eyelids. I perform this procedure under local anesthesia with light oral sedation. I hope this helps.
