I just turned 22 and my breast sag and has loose skin. I was wondering if surgery would be a good alternative.

Although it is difficult to say without a personal examination, you may be a perfect candidate for a breast lift. A breast lift allows the surgeon to perk a dropping breast by removing excess skin, repositioning the nipple and supporting the breast by redraping and tightening the skin. The great thing is this procedure can leave minimal scars and can also be done as a outpatient procedure under twilight sedation. I suggest you make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon who will examine you and go over your surgical options in detail.

I think that either a breast lift or a breast lift with implants would be great. The shape and size of the breasts can be controlled by these two procedures. An exam would best determine which is right for you.

A breast lift or mastopexy procedure may be a fantastic surgical option for you. A breast lift allows a plastic surgeon to adjust a patient’s areola placement and afford a patient a more perky and aesthetically appealing breast shape. Some patients will undergo a breast augmentation at the same time as a breast lift in order to obtain a fuller shape and/or larger breast size and some upper pole firmness that a breast lift alone cannot accomplish. I would suggest consulting with a board certified plastic surgeon to review these different options and better determine what one must do to give you the breast shape and appearance that you are hoping for.

The first thing you need is an examination by a Plastic Surgeon to see what is the best thing to do. There are different kinds of lifts and some involve the use of implants. Please set up a complimentary appointment so I will be able to tell you what your options are.
