Affordably amazing?
You’ve probably seen St. Ives products for years at your local pharmacy, but have you ever tried one of them? Its Renewing Collagen Elastin Body Lotion (retail: $4.99) promises to “reveal younger looking skin in seven days.” The manufacturer says the lotion not only “hydrates to improve your skin,” but also “improves skin’s elasticity for younger-looking skin.” For the price of an Abe Lincoln, this is a product we could get used to. With endless collagen and elastin products on the market, is it possible this low-priced lotion has gone under the radar?

Dry skin and the break down of collagen has really become an issue for me, complicated with thyroid related issues which took place several years back. The condition was fixed however my skin is just horrible, and gets worse with time no matter what I have tried. It would be fantastic if this would work and at such an excellent and affordable price? I have been athletic all my life, but the crepe skin has more to do with hormone inconsistencies then muscle tone. I been using St. Ives forever and have always been happy with the results. The hydration part is necessary while exercise and increasing certain items to the diet mainly soy(nuts, milk, tofu etc) which contains genestein to block enzymes that break down skin, leafy greens(contain lutein to boost elastin to help the elasticity, and vitamin A (cantalope, sweet potatoes etc. help in collagen response, and adding sulphur rich foods like cucumbers and olives also helps with increasing collagen. No miracles, but a definite recipe for improvement. Would be eager to try this product….
