I am an educator, speaker and author of two books, one a non-fiction tome that assists children through grieving, and a novel that posits an African American naval wife as its protagonist. I speak around the country about incorporating art and design into science, technology, engineering and math (STEM TO STEAM). I’ve also assisted the families of naval personnel to adjust to everything from deployment, relocation and promotion to military hospitality.
