I would try the AM PM Yoga

I would love to try the Nia. I danced from my toddler years and into college, but once I got married and had kids, I no longer had the time or the energy for dance. Nia seems like the perfect way to reconnect with my love of dance.

When I was asked to talk about Fitness over fifty, I jumped at the chance. I’m over sixty, and I’m happy to say I hold my own among the fifty-year-olds. I even think I look as good as they do. What I’m most proud of is that even after thirty years the message of Nia is still the best. Nia’s birthday as the first barefoot aerobic workout, fusion program is this August, but we’re waiting till 2013 to really celebrate. So you think you can’t dance after fifty? Think again! As someone recently said, “After Nia, I dance better now than when I was young!”

In my opinion, Nia is the very best workout around for the FOFs. I became a Nia instructor at 54 and at 56 I’m healthier than I’ve ever been. Nia teaches you to love your body and your life. It’s the ultimate best workout for all of you – body, mind, spirit, and emotions.

Flywheel Sports is amazing. And addictive. Don’t be afraid to try it. I was. But the instructors, atmosphere and all the features Ruth explains make Flywheel the best cycling studio I have been to in the last year or so (water, use of cycling shoes and towels are free!) I worked up from once a week to almost every day. I’ve lost weight, I am stronger, more flexible and even my skin looks better.

I’m a Nia instructor and I tell ALL of us FOFs “Nia is for us !!!” If you have never tried it, go to NiaNow.com, search for a class near you and just go! The usual response from a new student is “How come I have never heard of this before!!!” It’s been around since 1983, and is in over 45 countries worldwide! But it’s ok….now you know! Have fun you fabulous FOFs ;D

Nia brought me HOME, after a life search through Jazzercise (ow), yoga (yawn), spinning (ha!) and running (see: ow!)

I think I’d like the AM/PM Yoga and Nia. I really like what I’ve tried of Yoga, but a dance/martial arts form would be right up my alley! How about AM Nia/PM Yoga? 🙂

Both cycling and biking sound great but I think my favorite to try would be AM PM Yoga. Yoga can be done any time and any where plus it connects the mind to the body so both are in balance.
