Thanksgiving meal – oh, well, just once a year. Try to eat smaller portions and you won’t feel guilty!

Indulge in things I wouldn’t typically eat and eat far too much, just because it’s a “holiday”?? No thanks. I’ve worked too hard to get the weight off and change my nutrition lifestyle. I’m not eating crap just because it’s Thanksgiving. I’ll get a run and workout in before the meal and still only eat things on my plan. I have no interest in gaining the typical 5-10 lbs most people gain at the holidays. There are plenty of healthy ways to enjoy food, one doesn’t need to be a pig about it. 😉

A major part of our annual family Thanksgiving gathering at my in-laws is a long, brisk hike. Thus no one need feel guilty about a bounteous meal! (and my 92 yr old father-in-law sets the pace – exercise and good genes are the key.)

Ok, so it probably has it’s downside, but it only
comes once a year. Go at it ladies enjoy !!!!!
