“I am loving creams and light pinks for the spring…so feminine!” says FOF style expert Sandra Soich “The racer-back silhouette is definitely in this season, and even though our backs may not be perfect, FOFs can wear this silhouette with a soft cami underneath.” Sandra’s fabulously feminine spring picks are below, followed by thriftier versions of the pieces.
Cosabella ‘Talco’ long camisole/Rag and Bone racer tank/Eileen Fisher organic linen trouser/Eileen Fisher scoop neck dress/Via Spiga ‘Dolmen’ pump
Soft Surroundings long scoop cami / Madewell perfect racerback tank/Soft Surroundings ‘Palagiano’ pant/Calvin Klein pleated jersey dress/Anne Klein ‘Pipa’ heels

I miss my husband, this other half of me. Life is too busy these days with two kids and work to reflect much on my aloneness, the way I did in those old days as a new and tentative parent just beginning to understand what it was all about.

I don’t mean to sound negative, but in this economy and with my very limited income, I can’t even go with the prices she goes “down” to. I opt for Macy’s clearance with an extra percentage off for a cardholder. I got linen pants ($178) for $7! Because linen was too thin for February! I also go to thrift stores and often find brand new, tags on as well as Plus stores’ sale racks.

I love “The Look for Less” and its comparisons….more, more please!! Most of us cannot, will not or should not pay $600 for one outfit (special occasions excluded!). Cute tips are so very welcome–THANKS!!
