[GIVEAWAY] dermaTRUTH Antioxidant Peptide Serum

Standing by its name, dermaTRUTH wants us to ignore beauty industry fads, and focus instead on products that contain scientifically backed ingredients, like its new Antioxidant Peptide Serum.

Dr. DIt seems like every day there is either a new ‘miracle’ ingredient that creates a cult following, or an ‘evil’ ingredient that everyone believes they must avoid. Unfortunately, the marketing claims don’t always match up to the facts,” says Dr. Michelle Calvarese, creator of dermaTRUTH, which has been formulated to help brighten, smooth, soften and lightly moisturize the face.

“The dermaTRUTH formula is a powerful combination of antioxidants and peptides that independent research has demonstrated to have long-term efficacy,” says Dr. Calvarese.spacer

The dermaTRUTH Antioxidant Peptide Serum ($74 for 20mL) features 18 peptides and antioxidants to “slow down aging in its tracks,” and if you’re lucky enough to still have great skin, it promises to “protect the skin before the damage starts.”

Unlike many big-brand skincare products, wrapped in luxe packaging, this serum is protected in violet glass from the harmful effects of light, so it remains potent. Peptides in dermaTRUTH include glutathione, that improves our skin’s natural defense against oxidation; ergothioneine, which inhibits pigmentation, and tocopheryl acetate, which improves elasticity and smoothness of the skin.

Besides the serum’s potent peptides, other critical ingredients include two forms of vitamin C that absorb effectively into multiple layers of our skin, as well as fruit extracts and green tea. Marine-based ingredients help create softer, smoother, plumper and more youthful-looking skin. “Marine ingredients trap water and act as  ‘water reserves,’ keeping your skin hydrated and fresh throughout the day,” Dr. Calvarese explains.

“Women are beginning to appreciate the benefits of long-term skin health and prevention strategies rather than quick fixes.  This serum aims to bring skin back to a healthy state by slowly repairing damage, but more importantly, protecting the skin from future damage. I suggest using 1- 1 ½ pumps each morning after cleansing and before applying sunscreen.  Think of it as a morning dose of vitamins for your skin.”

Five lucky ladies will each win a bottle of this sensational serum!
