It’s always enlightening to learn what other women in our generation are thinking and doing. We like to ask members of our community a series of simple questions about pretty complex issues (and some not so complex issues), then we report the results back to you!

Essential Rose says:
I’ve never been a smoker or a sun worshipper and I think that’s helped. I’ve been blessed to look younger than my age, which has helped too. Wrinkles are inevitable, so I try to be comfortable with myself and accept aging as a natural process and try to handle it with grace and a sense of humour.

I got a lower face lift four weeks ago at the age of 51 – a former silly sun worshiper who also didn’t really think much of skin care routines. It looks great, cost a ton and the recovery is HUGE. Can you be seen in two weeks? Yes. But it will be months before I am not “feeling” the healing process and numbness. Unlike childbirth, I do not want to forget this lest I ever think about doing it again. But I can’t say I have huge regrets – it really looks pretty amazing.
