Why don’t doctors do liposuction on morbidly obese patients, to reduce the excessive number of fat cells under the skin, which will remain, ready to refill with fat, even when weight is lost through other means? Is it ever possible to reduce fat cells by liposuction BEFORE having bariatric surgery such as lap-band, sleeve, or gastric bypass surgery?

I understand the Diva in all midlife women and in how honoring that presence can transform lives. I understand that if you don’t see yourself as valuable, no one else will. I created a practice based on reconnecting with the powerful, intuitive moxie muscle. You know, the one that gives you the courage and energy to “go for it.”  I believe that it can be strengthened like any other muscle in the body. That journey gently, creatively and purposely guides women to listen to their inner murmurs and treasure their unique, one-of-a-kind lives. This guarantees a  LIVE OUT LOUD blissful life, a life that can be enjoyed without the need to raise babies, be married, please everyone else or have regrets. Life has so many transformative lessons, including divorce, empty nests , loneliness, second careers, and aging authentically. Each of us needs an anchor and compass. We need to be reminded that BLISS is available to us daily and that we must make a commitment to purposely seek it.
My Transformational Programs guide us to take charge of our life story, recognize what’s working and not, and how to get back to BLISSWhat never ceases to amaze me is that we are all born with exactly what we need to find our way. We just have to move towards it and lovingly invite it into our daily lives.
I aim to ignite a spark everywhere through my coaching. Through my practice, I’ve found a safe haven and I am able to share my calling with the world and spend time creating a life that I love. I am truly grateful.

I have recently lost 40 lbs and have those nasty batwings (arm flab). I exercise my arms but I also have somewhat large biceps so I don’t want to increase anymore muscle. My son is getting married in Sept and I would like to be rid of them by them. What is the recovery time for this surgery?

I have been a motorcycle drag racer for almost eight years and fund my racing through sponsors and sponsorship opportunities. In turn, I market and represent my sponsors’ products during the March-November racing season.

I also participate in a race for breast cancer, called Paint the Quarter Pink, where we raise money to help women pay their expenses outside of their treatment!! I hope to participate in land speed and road racing in 2015 and to do some fundraisers for at-risk youth and for the homeless and less fortunate people in Baltimore.

I am a floral designer in Bethesda, MD, just outside of Washington, DC. I love all styles of floral design, from lush romantic arrangements to ikebana and am happy to provide my clients with flowers in the style they desire. I work from my home studio and have a large collection of antiques and props that I often incorporate into my work. This is a second artistic endeavor for me. I have a degree in weaving and textile design and often incorporate textile techniques into my pieces.
