In 1975, Alice Lusk was the first woman ever hired at the professional level of Ross Perot's multi-million dollar company, EDS. "Every one of my colleagues were former US military personnel," she remembers. Despite the hyper masculine environment, Lusk looked every bit the woman. "I didn't want to wear a white shirt and dark power suit," she says. "I wore Armani, Donna Karan and Chanel. I never thought about gender bias. I felt beautiful and confident, and I brought in business. That made Mr. Perot very happy." ...
