Anybody out there know of a way to stop biting your nails?? I know I use to do it to get attention from my mom, now that she is gone, I no longer need to bite them. Now they bring attention from everybody else. Not good attention either, but it has been over 45 years.

I have vertical lines down my nails. They tear from the sides and are not strong. Also they grow slower. I have heard that the lines can be hereditary.
