At The Top of Her Game

These are some of the things I love about Pauline Durban: Her enthralling British accent; the fact she adores her son as much as she does; her warmth; her generosity, and her humor.

And, I love the pretty, comfortable and flattering tops she’s been designing for the last couple of years, for FabOverFifty women just like she and I.

Pauline has recently added a honey of a selection of new tops to her Covered Perfectly collection, and she’s redesigned her website so it’s simple as pie to view it all. When I visited Pauline a few months ago, in her hometown of LA, she showed me a few of her new designs and I immediately said: “I want that one!” pointing to the top she was wearing.

So here I am, wearing Pauline’s Color Block top, in beautiful coral and black, over a pair of narrow black pants. The MicroModal and Spandex top (it’s machine washable!) also comes in black with red or black with malt (a deep taupe), in size small to extra-large. The length is perfect, because it helps disguise my less-than-svelte midsection. The sleeves are perfect because they cover my underarm flab. And the round neckline is perfect, because it’s not too low and not too high. I’ve accessorized the top with a thin silk scarf and you can see my coral necklace peeking through if you look closely!

Tops made of the exact same fabric, but missing the great style of Covered Perfectly tops, sell at upscale New York boutiques for $125 and more! Pauline’s solid MicroModal tops are $39.95 to $59.95. And check out her jackets and cascading vests, prints, and faux furs (one of the hottest trends this season.) Everything is perfectly priced. Even more perfectly priced, since Pauline is offering FOFs 20% off your order.

…and clear out one of your dresser drawers. Once you wear a Covered Perfectly top, you won’t be able to stop at just one.
