{Test This} St. Ives Renewing Collagen Elastin Body Lotion

Affordably amazing?

You’ve probably seen St. Ives products for years at your local pharmacy, but have you ever tried one of them? Its Renewing Collagen Elastin Body Lotion (retail: $4.99) promises to “reveal younger looking skin in seven days.” The manufacturer says the lotion not only “hydrates to improve your skin,” but also “improves skin’s elasticity for younger-looking skin.” For the price of an Abe Lincoln, this is a product we could get used to. With endless collagen and elastin products on the market, is it possible this low-priced lotion has gone under the radar?

Perfumed and pearly?

To enter, leave a comment below answering the question: Why are you unhappy with your scent?

Last year, FOFs tested Fragrance Bracelets by Lisa Hoffman, wife of Dustin Hoffman. Now, she’s partnered with Swarovski to create crystal pearl bracelets, graced with gold or silver filigree charms that hold scented wooden beads (retail value: $85). Choose from five different scents– French Clary Sage, Japanese Agarwood, Madagascar Orchid, Tunisian Neroli, and Tuscan Fig. When the fragrance loses its strength, after about one month, the charm can be filled with new beads. The bracelet looks like its made from real South Sea pearls. Wear it and let us know what you think!

Is this the perfect 2-in-1, or just another item that will get lost in your jewelry box? 10 FOFs will test this.

{Test This} Ageless Sun

ageless sun landingpage

Is this product– the best thing under the sun or… kind of shady?

To enter, leave a comment below answering: To what part of your body do you want to add some color, and why?

Ageless Sun (retail value: $20), a self-tanning lotion by Albertini International, was made specifically with aging skin concerns in mind. It contains “non irritating” ingredients and “a rich hydrating cream” to keep skin supple and conditioned, as opposed to water-based tanners that “grab on drier areas of the skin and ultimately leave patchy tans.” Apply for “3-4 days in a row to build your tan gradually,” says the manufacturer. The tan will last about one week before it needs “refreshing.”

“Start a week before you want to have that glow!” says the manufacturer, who also notes that the best self-tanning should be “done gradually.” Is it worth the wait?

7 FOFs will try it.

{Tested} Bi Matrix 60 Second Wrinkle Eraser

Bi Matrix 60 Second Wrinkle Eraser (retail value: $39) is made from peptides and bioactive ingredients that penetrate the skin’s top layer and “build a flexible, three-dimensional matrix to help restore youthful appearance by promoting new collagen and elastin,” according to the company’s website.

Just, sweep the serum under your eye, beginning from the inner corner and spread outward over fine lines, wrinkles and under eye bags. Set the serum by tapping your finger over the application area. Keep your face still for 60 seconds while the serum dries…then, voila! Wrinkles and lines “instantly disappear,” according to the company.
