Georgia On My Mind

CHECK OUT THE COLLAR: The art critic of The New Yorker sent O’Keeffe this checked cotton shirt in the 1940s, which she teamed with blue jeans and wore “with great pleasure.” Interestingly, the artist turned the pointed collar to the inside of the shirt, and sewed it down, to create a stand-up neckline.

OH BANDANA: Of course, O’Keeffe loved bandanas, which would have looked wonderful with jeans and her blue-and-white checked shirt. These pristine cotton bandanas from the 1950s feature great-looking prints.
