I recently underwent body contouring surgery and as soon as the incision was healed enough I began using Bio-Oil twice a day along with Mederma (gel formula) twice a day. I’m four weeks post-op now and have reduced it to one application per day of each, being sure to massage the products in, paying particular attention to the areas where extra sutures were placed. The results have been amazing. Every day I can see a noticeable improvement in the color and texture of the incision. If it continues improving at this rate, I’m hopeful that the incision (which encircles my entire body) will be barely noticeable in a few months.
Have you tried Mederma Scar cream with spf My friend swears by it -also I believe StriVectin makes one for stretch marks which are similar to scars and can help
Pure shea butter works wonders. Vitaman E is amazing too. My mom used to pop an actualy Vit E pill and get the liquid out. She’d put it right on the blemish and in a few days it would be gone.

Thanks! I hope it works – I had an unfortunate run-in with bed bugs and while my arms are healing I still need extra help.
