DrupalWomenQ-#7070

I live in the Northern Texas Panhandle. It is very dry and arid here. Would you suggest a hardy, wind resistant shade tree that would thrive here? If you live in the “desert”, we were told to plant “desert trees”. We just pulled up a 3 yr old maple tree that iron wouldn’t save. Thanks, Carla

For some reason, I’m thinking cottonwood but I think you really should check in with your local county cooperative extension — their master gardeners will be able to tell you what will work for you.
