Last fall I took a tumble down a 8 foot hole. I survived but my big toe nail did not. A new nail is growing back and the dead nail is off. With summer quickly approaching, are there any nail beauty tips to disguise my extremely short toe nail and restore my foot ego?

Hi Staness,
You are one lucky lady to survive such a steep fall!!!
If you have enough nail on your toe, when you get a pedicure a skilled nail technician can put a patch on the toenail & once polished no one can tell. I have seen this done through the transition of growth. In the interim the nail that is there can be polished also. Try not using red, as it will show a tiny nail on the big toe go more neutral. Use Nailtiques, a nail protein that bonds the nail layers together building a strong nail foundation resistant to chipping or peeling. http://www.nailtiques.com
You have a beautiful face & I am sure most people are looking up rather than down, but certainly understand that you are conscientious about this.

Another creative option – I am relieved to have choices! I just knew the FOF gurus would come to the rescue – thanks Susan.

For a super fast inexpensive fix, I have actually seen press-on toenails at the drugstore and beauty supply shop!

Thanks Gina – a press-on nail would be perfect!

Ouch! Glad you are OK – that is quite a tumble! I found these toe covers – see if your pedicurist will paint a toenail on it. http://www.footsmart.com/P-Gel-Toe-Cap-Set-of-2-98122.aspx
