I am confused by the different types of cardio machines at the gym, does it matter which you use as long as you heart rate increases or is one machine better overall than another…bike, treadmill, elliptical? which one is most effective?, thank you

    i prefer that my clients use the treadmill over eliptical or bike as you are getting impact to make bones strong on that one. Start slowly and build up so that you feel slightly out of breath but can still talk with slow run. That is your aerobic burn and will help your heart. I see people just walk slowly on treadmill forever and they never get fitter.
