At 50, I find it almost impossible to lose weight. To top it off, I have celiac and possibly other food allergies (soy and milk suspected) and I am forever “uncomfortable”.

This is a challenge. Have you talked with your health care provider about this? It could be that a nutritionist or naturopath who is familiar with these issues could help devise an eating program that would help eliminate your discomfort as well as some weight.

I have seen many doctors over the years and after 30 years of tests, etc. this is where I am. I guess I should be grateful because it used to just all be in my head. Looks like I can just eat rice. Sucks to be me. Your answer was not helpful. I wouldn’t have reached out someone else if I had not hit a deadend of nonhelpfulness in the medical community. But hey, no problem, I can just drink water and not eat, that would end the discomfort.

I hear your frustration, and I’m not trying to increase it, but have you tried a holistic route, such as working with a naturopath or even acupuncture? There are other routes. I had no idea you have been struggling with this for as long as you have.
