I’m approaching menopause and it seems like my metabolism is changing. It’s much less forgiving of a mistake now and then. Is there any way to adjust for menopause, so I don’t gain weight?

Oh man, do I know what you mean! One thing I’ve done is to increase my activity level–adding a 15-minute walk and 15-20 minutes of yoga in the morning to my routine has helped to keep the scale in control, as well as my clothes fitting. Also, when possible, reconcentrate your calories to earlier in the day; I’ve started eating more at lunch and then just a light supper–sometimes a smoothie or green salad, depending on hunger.
