We’re going to Paris soon for 4 nights. Where would you insist that we go if no other? This may include the obvious, antique shopping, flea markets, etc.

The Louvre, Sacre Coure, Notre Dame, and I didn’t get to go but my daughter went to Versailles and her fav of all was Monet’s Garden. Her photos were breathtaking! Food is awesome everywhere in Paris. Have fun!

A day trip to Versailles will give you a chance to see both natural and man-made magnificence. It’s easy to reach on the Metro, and there are plenty of nearby cafes for a lunch break. The palace and it’s treasures are fabulous, yet the gardens even more so. I found an insight into the French Revolution which would not have been attainable in any other way, than being in the midst of such splendor. To see the vast expanse of forest, and know that it was worth a man’s life to take one rabbit to feed a hungry family, is a lesson in history which cannot be otherwise obtained.

Go to the Left Bank and look at all the little restaurants. Then just choose one and enjoy one of the best meals you will EVER have!
Also on the Left Bank there are exquisite bakeries and creperies. Little tiny book stalls….omg you will find so much to see, smell, taste and enjoy! Go where your heart leads! I ate some fantastic food from street vendors (croque monsieur- a cheese bagutte sandwich) and cafe lattes…..mmm mmm mmm. Walk the river walks…..see the lights at night \

Angelina’s for hot chocolate. And if you have time Monet’s house and garden at Giverny. You will need to take a tour there. The train gets you close but from the station you need to rent a bike or taxi etc.

My favorite museums are the Musee D’Orsay and L’Orangerie. Walk around the Marais, stop into BHV for the true French department store experience, enjoy a dinner at Les Philosophes, and relax with some tea at the Marriage Freres.

Lucky you. I don’t know where to start. Must go to Marais and St. Germain arrondisements and just walk around. Musee D’Orsay rather than the Louvre. Go to Haven in Paris website and read her blog. It’s spectacular.
