Arbonne has a great tinted moisturizer with full-spectrum sunblock, AND it is free of any animal products or byproducts, free of petroleum products, free of artificial dyes or fragrances!
My dermatologist recommended MDSolarSciences Mineral Screen Tinted Gel, SPS 30 . Sensitive formula for the face. Water resistant and non-greasy. Also been using Neutrogena Age Shield Face 70 SPF (but no tinting).
I can really swear by Jemma Kidds spf 15 for a beautiful silky coverage, therefore not sinking into any pores or goodness forbid, wrinkles! It glides on, keeps my face soft and stays all day! I apply it twice a day, and my usually sensitive skin thanks me for it, it really is like a glass of water for the skin! It costs a little more than your average tinted moisturiser, but a tube lasts such a long time!
I really like Nars radiant tinted moisturizer. It takes a little practice to get the right shade (they have many to choose from). But it works really well for hot, humid summer days. It goes on dark, but soon looks very natural.
I have been using juice beauty for several years….spf 30. I never leave home without this on my face…..its wonderful. It may at first look too whitish (from the zinc oxide), but after smoothing it on, it leaves a glow. People actually ask me how I get the glow!
I have been using Neutrogena’s Healthy Defense, Daily Moisturizer, Light Tint, with SPF 30 for years. It gives my face a light, but healthy glow with the added benefits of SPF 30. I use it alone, with out make up all year long. I have tried others, but always come back to Neutrogena. You can find it at your local drugstore for about $15.
Thanks so much for sharing your advice. I will try Neutrogena’s as I have had good experience with their sunblock and never noticed that they had a tinted moisturizer with a 30 sunblock. Thanks again!
A really goo moisturizing, tinted SPF is Josie Maran’s SPF30. It contains argan oil to moisturize and it comes in different shades. I have dry, mature skin and it works great for me. You can get on QVC or at an Sephora store.
I really like Jouer Cosmetics Luminizing Tinted Moisturizer – it has SPF 20 that protects against UVB and UVA rays. The coverage is great and it has antioxidant ingredients in to too. It really gives the face a healthy glow.
Kari, I have seen that mentioned on another site. Does it make your face shiny? It seems to imply in the description on that site that it does. I’ve decided that things with shine look silly on my uplifted but still 61 year old face. Please let me know what you think before I buy it. By the way, you look great in your pic!! Thanks!
Hi ctgal,
Jouer’s products are really nice, but the Luminizing Moisture Tint does have ‘glow’ (but not sparkle). I find it best for skin that’s not too oily.
However, if you can hold tight, very soon they’ll be launching their Matte Moisture Tint w/spf 20 that I think you will love. It feels amazing going on and leaves your skin looking like silk.
Deb, I like SkinCeuticals Physical Fusion UV Defense because it’s an SPF 50 very light, nongreasy facial sunscreen with no chemical sunscreen ingredients, only the physical blockers. It’s lightly tinted and acts as a matte moisturizer too.
Depending in your skin type–
For normal to dry skin, including over 50 skin, I LOVE Josie Maran tinted moisturizer with argan oil.
It’s found at Sephora and is organic.
For combination and oily skin I love Smashbox sheer focus tinted moisturizer.
For all skin types, NARS new radient tinted moisturizer is absolutely gorgeous.
I like Borghese Summer Glow SPF 20 Tinted Moisturizer. It’s made for mature skin, has a great SPF (20), just the right amount of color, and comes in a pump tube.
I love my Mary Kay Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 20 Sunscreen. A little goes a long way because the coverage is so smooth and it’s so light I feel like I have no foundation on at all. I also use Mary Kay’s Foundation Primer which has a SPF 15 Sunscreen. It keeps my foundation from running and looking like I’m wearing foundation. I HATE wearing foundation and used to avoid it like the plague! But not any more. 🙂
I love my products soo much that I started recommending and selling Mary Kay to my friends and family.

A bit on the pricey side, but the best I’ve tried (I’ve used Mary Kaye and Bobbie Brown, as well, good, but this brand is way better.)

I normally don’t use tinted moisturizers. I use Bare Minerals Foundations are very light and all have SPF. I combine this with their product called bisque to hide rosacea.
Perhaps someone else can comment on Tinted moisturizers specifically. Here are two products I found.
Clinique has this one: http://www.clinique.com/product/1599/15635/Makeup/Foundations/Moisture-Surge-Tinted-Moisturizer-SPF-15/index.tmpl but you will note it has mixed reviews. This one for Laura Mercier seems to have good reviews for older skin:http://reviews.lauramercier.com/2787/prod210063/lauramercier-illuminating-tinted-moisturizer-spf-20-reviews/reviews.htm
