I am so sorry for all of you who have lost so much. It must be unbearable to be in the middle of so much devastation. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Hang in there-I’m sure it will get better, even if that doesn’t seem possible now.

Please take advantage of volunteers that indeed wish to help in whatever capacity. I can’t imagine what kind of hardship this disaster has brought to the people, what I do know is that people come together in times of crisis. Where there is moisture there is mildew and mildew is unhealthy. It’s important that anything that can be replaced be discarded and allow the home to completly dry out. Hope and prayers for everyone to come together and to encourage all to move forward

When I first started to read your question,I thought that you were indeed a kind person. When finished reading it I came to the conclusion that you need everyones help just as much as those folks that your heart goes out to.I have given money and donated to many charities helping with Sandy’s victims. What is it that you most need? Do you have electricity?Try to stay in your home if it’s safe!
Standing out in that sludge is dangerous and cold.I suspect you know that by now.
I will be saying prayers for you.
