Thanks for the info on the Osteoporosis Center. The address should bring it to about First Avenue which is within walking distance from where I live. Think he center on 17th St. is connected with Beth Israel. Familiar with the Hospital for Specia Surgery but didn’t know they had Osteoporosis Center.

My osteoporosis doctor really specializes in rheumatoid arthritis which I don’t have. In any case, his name is Robert Spiera at 1088 Park Avenue. He’s one of two doctos that aren’t at NYU. He & the other one are with Mt. Sinai.

My problem with Beth Israel is that the buildings are so poorly connected, that I’m constantly getting lost. Had one occasion to visit their ER with a neighbor of mine who sliced her hand open, gushing blood. Sat in the ER for over 4 hours. That’s turned me off to Beth Israel. I don’t have any comments regarding their doctors since I’ve never dealt with them.
