Realize that over 50 comes with a sense of mastery! We can integrate and successfully negotiate diverse needs. Our journey has provided so much knowledge! When you believe in yourself your authentic self will shine through!

I adore the word mastery! It’s true, we have had the time and experience to hone our skills. Yes, believing in ourselves is the seed, that when watered, will grow into the manifestation of our dreams!

Do not be afraid to show who you are and your creativity. We might be fifty or older but think of all the wisdom we have to bring to the business world. Networking with others should help too.

      Deborah,
Thank you. I have found that when i was younger I didn’t have as much confidence as I do now. I truly believe it is because of the actual burdens and pleasures I have gone through in my life. I am not afraid to take on any challenges like when I was younger.
My passion is also creativity… 🙂

Being more authentic by making the first move, smile while, making eye contact with both men and women, putting your hand out first for the hand shake. By giving a since of confidence business people seem to gravitate to.

Confidence is paramount. Our years can build upon themselves, or wear us down. I suppose in the end it is a choice!

Don’t hesitate to show people how competent you are and they won’t care whether you’re 20 or 50. I tell people I am 64 all the time. It emphasizes how much I understand about marketing to boomers.

Geri, you’re right! If we don’t share our competency, we are cheating the world of our gifts!
