Kiki’s Bistro on Franklin Street. Been around for years; great atmosphere and food is fairly authentic. New and “hot” french restaurant called Bistronomic. Ate there several weeks ago and found it to be excellent….very french!

My all time favorite French restaurant in Chicago in in Lincoln Park, 2300 North Lincoln Park West, Chicago, IL 60614-3456, (773) 348-8886. They have wonder French Onion soup, a meal in itself, as well as comfort food such as Beef Bourguignon. Additionally, they have a website: monamigabi.com/chicago. There you will see special events, brunches, etc. and even French cooking classes. This really is a must for French food enthusiasts.

One I can recommend highly is Bistro Monet in Glen Ellyn, great food, delightful atmosphere, and quiet. Les Nomades is wonderful, as is, Nomi, which is in the Park Hyatt.

Here are 3 that I love! Bistro Champagne 4518 N. Lincoln Avenue in the Lincoln Park Neighborhood of the city, is quaint, feels like a true french bistro, and serves organic fare that is out of this world!. Another neighborhood place that is sweet and in a great walking neighbohood with great shopping is: Bistro Margot at 1437-39 N. Wells St. Chicago. On the pricey side but with spectacular views of the city, and extraordinary food & service is Everest located in the Chicago Stock Exchange building on the 40th floor of 440 N. Lasalle St. Chicago. Hope you have a great experience! Bon Appetite!~
