I enjoy this blog and have bought a number of her ebooks. Very practical advice.

I think it is always important to have a great everyday handbag.. classic in style that you can wear with skirts and pants. A great flat, like a ballet slipper with a heavier sole, A great little pump with a small heel and a fab pair of boots. Classic pair of pants and a blazer, skirt, leather jacket..mix and match.. leggings…and a few great tee shirts to wear under the blazer and leather jacket…. easy and fun and forever

Happy Birthday. 60 is an awesome achievement. When I work with an individual to build a “core ” wardrobe, I always include basic items like pants or skirts that work interchangably with jackets, blouses or tops that flatter the figure. Most important is that we take into consideration the individuals lifestyle. This way I know if the wardrobe will truly serve the individual. I like a book entitled “I don’t have a thing to wear” The Psychology of your Closet”! by Taggart/Walker. Enjoy!

    Happy Birthday, and congratulations!
I wrote 2 books focusing on modern, ageless and youthful style. They cover essentials in a classic yet high style mix. J Crew meets Prada. There are many “jean” looks and lots more on everything head to toe. “Forever Cool”, my first included men (real people over 50). “Steal This Style” examines cross generational (mothers and daughters) style.
