I just started to do real people modeling last year and need to find foundation that is moisturizing that enhances my complexion and doesn’t go into my lines and the same thing for a powder when I go on auditions. Thanks!

I love Missha BB Cream, the new BB cream by Bobbie Brown, and I also like Cover FX Natural FX. Here is my review of that product. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHBBbPamWnQ

Hello Robin, that is great to hear! AVON has some wonderful products that help with everything you are looking for in a foundation and powder! I will attach a link where you can take a look at some of the things AVON has to offer! I would recommend the ANEW Age-transforming SPF 15 foundation. I have alot of costumers that praise this product! Instantly—minimizes fine lines, wrinkles, pores and age spots are visibly diminished for a more youthful finish. After 1 week—over 90% of women showed improvements in skin texture and clarity. After 4 weeks—over 90% of women saw a reduction in fine wrinkling and a more even appearance in natural skin tone.

    Hi Robin,
I agree with Cindy. Armani has one of the most beautiful foundations I have seen. It goes on smoothly, covers well, and looks naturally flawless. You can get it at Saks Fifth Avenue or Nordstrom. A close second is Channel. It covers very well, and you almost don’t need a cover-up for those flaws such as hyper-pigmentation.
Most important, remember to keep your skin underneath all this makeup fully moisturized.
    Good luck to you.

I agree with Cindy that Armani’s Luminous Silk is wonderful and will add that Tom Ford’s new foundation is one I like even better. You may consider using a primer first – that always helps with foundation settling into fine lines and allowing foundation to stay longer and go on more smoothly. I love Burberry’s primer and their foundation as well. However, just be wary of photography and using BB creams and other foundations that are high in SPF as even though when just looking at you there is not a white glow to the face, it does show up in photography.

Kari – I didn’t realize that the SPF would look white on camera. Thanks, I learned something from this discussion. I will look into both Armani and Tom Ford foundations…

Thanks, Kari. I will check out Armani’s, Tom Ford’s and Burberry’s. A primer is something I need to purchase as well. Good information.

    Hi Robin,
I was a make up artist to models for 27 years. I have now been modeling for 13. I know lighting, film, digital. HD and how it effects the skin. The camera sees things the human eye does not. The best foundation I have found is by Armani. I know it’s available at Nordstom but I don’t know where else. Luminous Silk. It has amazing coverage, incredible colors and can handle a bit of moisturize over the top, dabbed lightly to get you skin to look real and dewy again. Amazing. Velvety. Really works for photography.

Thanks, Cindy. I use Kiehl’s tinited moisturizer but thought there might be better options for camera. Will definitely try it! Since I am in NYC I hope they have it at Saks or Bergdorfs. Thanks so much.

Hello Robin, I am really excited for you. My favorite product is MISSHA BB Cream. You can only get it online. I use two shades 23 and 21 . It is well to note that after a few minutes it becomes virtually invisible on the skin. It was initially developed by dermatologist to cover skin that had just been treated with lasers. It is a heavily tinted moisturizer with SPF 40. I am 64 and it does not settle into the lines of my face but leaves it looking flawless. They also have a finishing powder but I have never used it. I do use a “very” light dusting of Bare Minerals to set it sometimes but it isn’t necessary. The product lasts and lasts. The downside is that you can only get it online. Their customer service is fabulous and orders arrive within days. I use the Boomer Primer with it for extra luminous skin.
