Can anyone recommend a good leg spray. I have olive skin and I don’t want to look like I have sprayed hose on. I also don’t need a spray on tan look either. Thanks!

St. Tropez is the repeated winner for sunless tanning. I have used the lotion and foam versions. It is messy and should be applied with gloves BUT it gives great color and coverage.

I’ve used Dermablend on my legs and feet. It covers very well but can be a little dry so I add moisturizer with the cream and smooth on. It’s waterproof also therefore will last all day. A cosmetic store employee should be able to help you match your color.

Oh, and I should add, that if you need a lot of coverage, we use Sally Hansen’s Airbrush Legs on set frequently. I ALWAYS buff it down after application with a dry powder puff … you know, the big, round, peach colored ones, to help it look more natural.

Also, because it is much more covering, you need to find a really good match to your skin tone to have it seem natural, but there are only about 4 colors I think, so you might not be able to do that. Anytime you have more coverage in a makeup product, you’ll have to concentrate on getting a really good skintone match because it will be much less forgiving than a sheer product. So in that respect, you should probably try to find a shop where you can ‘try before you buy’. Not sure if Ulta has testers, but I know they carry the product.

Thanks Vera. The airbrush is fantastic, but more then I want to spend. I don’t wear dresses very often so it wouldn’t be worth it for me.

Thanks Susan. I do need more of a cover up. I think I will go to a professional make up store that sells to the “industry”. I’m willing to have a custom color made (If they even do that).

    Hi Katherine,
If you just want to even out the color and ‘pretty-up’ your skin, but don’t need a lot of coverage, I like the DuWop Revolotion. It moisturizes, adds a teensy bit of color (but if you bought a color the same as your skin, I guess it wouldn’t add any) and just evens everything out with a nice glowy look, but not sparkly. It is, however, in a tube and not a spray. It just makes your skin look nice and is very imperceptible.

Although somewhat expensive, I have recently started using the Dinair airbrush makeup and over the weekend experimented using it on my legs to camouflage the spider veins and bruises. I was pleasantly surprised at how much coverage I got without it looking like I had makeup on my legs. Even my husband was impressed at how natural it looked.

And a little off the subject… but the airbrush makeup is awesome! I don’t like the look or feel of foundation on my face so haven’t used it years. The Dinair system takes a little practice but it is well worth it.

The only one I have tried is Mac..although Estee Lauder Goddess line has a gel one that is quite good, and oil free.
