I really love tarte maracuja oil. I actually did a review on this product. I call it my fountain of youth. It really has changed the whole look of my skin. It has helped with my lines and wrinkles, basically cleared up any adult acne I had, and just improved the overall texture of my skin. It’s amazing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZ9gjqMfGe8

First, nothing is going to shrink your pores.I worked for a Derm. for many years. The products I love for making it appear that you are poreless are BB creams which include sunscreen, bonus! For every day skin care,EXFOLIATE!!! I cannot stress this enough.Start with drug store retinoids. Then ask your family Doc,or your derm Doc for a prescription for a mild retinol cream.I’ll be thrilled to help you further,I’m here if you need me.

BB creams are a combination of light moisture, spf, and anti aging gel.
I use the kind that come from Japan and or Korea .The far east where they were invented.Dr.Jart makes a good one.I have noticed that most major cosmetic/skincare companies in the US have now jumped on this bandwagon.Go to Sephora.com,or one of the stores, and put BB cream in the search box.You will be surprised & delighted. The ones made in the far east are not as expensive as the ones made here.Smashbox,& Dr.Brandt are two makers of BB in the U.S.I just turned 61 and I think I look pretty good.(for my age!)

Pore size is genetically determined and cannot be altered. However, it can be minimized and with professional laser treatments, can be visibly reduced
    • Noncomedogenic moisturizers and makeup –
    • Jojoba oil is inexpensive, most similar to the body’s own sebum and quickly absorbed. Mineral makeup would be a good choice.
    • Silicon based primer – Apply the primer under your makeup to fill in your pores for a smoother appearance. Many companies offer primers. I like Laura Geller’s Spackle.
    • Exfoliating – Keep your pores clear to stop them from enlarging with blackheads and pimples. Use a cleansing brush ex. Clarisonic. A salicylic acid peel is helpful and can be applied at home for deeper exfoliation. An inexpensive peel can be purchased from Makeup Artist’s Choice http://www.makeupartistschoice.com/ and applied at home. Professional microdermabrasion is also helpful.
    • Laser – Finally, a facial laser treatment can tighten pores because it tightens the skin and increases collagen production.

I have heard that skin primers help with this.

I use Skin Authority Daily cleanser for removing my Mineral Makeup. I use Bare Minerals bisque (this a miracle coverup) and Foundation, I find this covers most rosacea and pore issues. At night time I use, Skin Authority Resurfacing Skin Accelerator.

For product, I highly recommend Brian Champagne’s Cell Youth Actif. It is a new product that uses nano-technology and really shows visible results.
Insofar as your daily routine, I suggest that you use a brush, either ultra-sonic or even a baby brush, to exfoliate the dry dead skin at least twice a week. After that, apply a small amount of extra virgin olive oil to your clean skin. The cell size is smaller than your blood cell and will penetrate quickly. If you feel a need to blot, by all means, do so. Then apply your Cell Youth Actif. Within two weeks, you will see stunning results and receive compliments.
NOTE: I use the small liquor bottles, rinse them, and fill with the EVOO. That way you can keep it next to the sink in the bathroom and not run into the kitchen for your dose of oil!!

Read the testimonials. Customers are reporting not only is it a safe luxurious moisturizer that really works, they are reporting their pores are shrinking! And they say it is clearing rosacea, psoriasis, acne, ezcema and more!

First of all, I would recommend exfoliating with a gentle scrub twice a week. Avon has products-their Anew Rejuvenate Line has several products that help shrink the appearance of pores, including a Flash Facial Revitalizing Concentrate. Consistent use of an appropriate moisturizer, a little help with a concentrated serum, and exfoliation should help give you a softer, more youthful appearance.

I love, love, love my Mary Kay Time Wise Microdermabrasion Set. I have very, very sensitive skin and I have no problem using this set twice a week. It scrubs away the outer layer of skin that I am having problems get rid of because I’m older and leaves nice, clean, dewy skin exposed. My fine lines are lessened and my pores are less noticeable. There is a “essence” that is the second step in this process. It really refines my skin texture, shrinks pores and improves my skin tone. Both, used together, have made a noticeable difference in the look and feel of my skin. I’m getting compliments on my skin again. (Like I did when I was much younger.)

Because I love the products so much and I was sharing them with my friends, I started selling the products. Here’s a link to the Microdermabrasion Set on my website. http://beta.marykay.com/genuineamyhall/en-US/Skin-Care/TimeWise-Microdermabrasion-Set/100723.partId?eCatId=10026
