I’d like advice on fish oil versus krill oil versus cod liver oil. I know my HDL responds positively to fish oil, but I keep hearing that krill oil or cod liver oil are better and safer. What facts, information, and advice can you give us on this topic? Thanks! DCL

I’ve been trying to eat organic, but it’s so costly! I’ve cut out processed foods & drinks for 3 years, but it’s unfair that eating healthy is expensive! Junk food should be costly & organic foods should be affordable. It’s not fair that the only the rich can eat & get healthy. Help!

Last year, I made a major dietary change and cut out all grains and most sugars from my diet, thinking that would finally kickstart some weightloss. Now just turned 50, I’m actually a few pounds heavier and just tested pre-diabetic! What gives??

What are your recommendations regarding vitamin supplements? Obviously you want to get as much of your nutrition from a variety of foods in your normal diet, but we all know that’s the ideal and not always possible to achieve. Do you advocate a general multivitamin or specific supplements?

If can make only ONE change, which is best: 1. to get 6 hrs sleep (vs. current 5); 2. to buy/cook/eat homemade food (vs. current on-the-run); or 3. to exercise. I have only about 1.5 hrs per day of time to allocate to ONE of these activities. Currently use that 1.5 to cover household maintenance.
